About us

Our mission is a simple one:

to grow God's church.

This encompasses two types of growth: mass and maturity.

We seek to grow the mass of God's church by adding to its number.  This is accomplished by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others might accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior, thus becoming a part of His church.

We also seek to grow the maturity of the church by encouraging and admonishing one another, in love, towards holiness.  This is accomplished by studying God's Word to obtain a clear understanding of who God is and whom He wants us to be.  Then applying those truths to grow in the image of His Son Jesus Christ.

Mt. Bethel is a member of the National Association of Free Will Baptists.  More information about our denomination can be found HERE
